Cut
The cut isn’t just about shape—it’s about how well the diamond reflects light. A well-cut diamond maximizes sparkle and fire, giving your ring its signature brilliance. From radiant and oval to emerald and round, we help you choose a cut that reflects your style and story.
Color
Diamonds are graded on a scale from D (colorless) to Z (light yellow or brown). Lab-grown diamonds, just like mined ones, can be nearly colorless or warm-toned. We help you choose a stone with the color grade that best complements your setting and your vision.
Clarity
Clarity refers to natural inclusions or flaws within the diamond. Lab diamonds are graded the same way as mined diamonds—by GIA or IGI standards. Most of the diamonds we use at Old Main Gem Co. are VS or VVS clarity, meaning they’re stunningly clean to the naked eye.
